
Brother Matt Raven of Phi Chapter (California-Davis) retired from Michigan State University in July. He had previously held positions as a professor with Mississippi State University for 15 years and was on faculty at Montana State University prior to that. In total, Brother Raven has spent 38 years in higher education.
Brother Matt Gunderson of Alpha Phi Chapter (South Dakota State) has begun a new chapter in his career as the CEO of GEO. His company cultivates leaders and organizations in agriculture, estate planning and non-profit sectors through strategic guidance, organizational clarity and strengths-driven leadership.
Brother Logan Britton of Alpha Zeta Chapter (Kansas State) was honored as the Kansas Board of Regents Faculty of the Year at Kansas State University in the tenure-track category, in recognition of his distinguished teaching, research, and service. Brother Britton serves as an associate professor of agricultural economics at Kansas State. He also conducts research on consumer behavior and food supply chains.
Brother Cliff Williamson of Beta Eta Chapter (Virginia Tech) began a new position with the Ocala Breeders’ Feed and Supply Company in Ocala, Florida, as their Feed Representative.
Brother Kevin Roepke of Eta Chapter (Iowa State) was appointed as the Executive Director – Middle East, North Africa and South Asia for the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC). Brother Roepke brought with him 20 years of experience in international agriculture, with a background in developing and emerging markets. Most recently, Brother Roepke served as the Regional Director for South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa at the USSEC. Prior to joining USSEC, he served as the Regional Director for the U.S. Grains Council.
Brother Jeff Dickens of Beta Epsilon Chapter (Arkansas State) began a new position as Regional Account Manager for Taranis, a company that uses knowledge of advanced imaging and AI to provide advisors and growers with crop scouting that covers more acres with more detail. In his new position, Brother Dickens will work with retailers to scout fields and aid in stand count, perform weed identification and pressure, disease pressure and nutrient deficiencies.
Brother Cord Lee of Kappa Chapter (Nebraska) was chosen to attend the 10th Annual Food Law Student Leadership Summit, “"Food and Democracy: From Policy to Plate," hosted by the Harvard Law School Food Law and Policy Clinic. He noted the summit discussed food policy, regulatory frameworks, and current issues farmers and producers are facing.
Brother Mason Blair of Alpha Gamma Chapter (Florida) was selected as one of 50 students for the 2025-2026 Freshman Leadership Experience (FLEX) cohort at the university. This experience acts as a launchpad for growth, collaboration and leadership, offering students the opportunity to learn, connect and make an impact on campus.
Brother Wybrand Vander Dussen of Alpha Zeta Chapter (Kansas State) will receive The 2025 Young Producer Award in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 2-3, at the MILK Business Conference. Individuals recognized by the Farm Journal magazine and presented by Farm Credit Services of America as a sponsor, are people who have excelled in their own dairy businesses and shown their commitment to the industry.
After graduation, Brother Vander Dussen returned to his family’s dairy operation. After the passing of his father during his first semester at Kansas State, his uncle temporarily took over the farm until Brother Vander Dussen graduated. Despite this, his passion for dairy never wavered. He now runs a 4,000-cow dairy operation.
