Monsanto, AGR Cultivating the Next Generation of Ag Professionals
Joe Hora, Iowa State alumnus, completed two internships with Monsanto prior to obtaining a full-time role with the company upon graduating in May of 2013. His internships, along with the skills and network he gained as a brother of Alpha Gamma Rho, have set him up for a successful career in agriculture.

David Van Wert, outstanding alumnus and agri-businessman, received Alpha Gamma Rho’s highest honor in Indianapolis, Ind. on August 3, 2014. Alpha Gamma Rho, with more than 50,000 members nationwide, inducted Van Wert into the Hall of Fame.
Highest Honor to Meland, Genetics Expert
Brother Ole Meland, outstanding alumnus and genetics and animal breeding expert, received Alpha Gamma Rho’s highest honor in Indianapolis, Ind. on August 3, 2014. Alpha Gamma Rho, with more than 50,000 members nationwide, inducted Meland into the Hall of Fame.
