Clark Named to Serve on Alpha Gamma Rho's National Board of Directors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Jan. 18, 2018 – Alpha Gamma Rho's National Board of Directors has voted to approve Gary Clark, Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Oklahoma State University, to serve the remainder of the unexpired term for the seat being vacated by Dr. Ronnie Green, Chancellor of the University of Nebraska. Alpha Gamma Rho is an over 100-year-old social and professional fraternity committed to cultivating a dynamic and global agriculture. Clark will serve on the Board until 2022.

"We are looking forward to having Gary join the Board and bring his legal and university experience to help us move the fraternity forward for the future," said Rex Martin, CEO of Alpha Gamma Rho. "We also wish to thank Dr. Green for his years of service to the Board and to the fraternity."

Clark initiated into Pi Chapter at Oklahoma State University in 1966. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Texas. Following school, Gary practiced law in private practice in Tulsa for nearly 30 years. He served on the Board of Regents for Oklahoma State University/A&M Colleges, including as its Chair from 1997 to 1998.

Following private practice, he became the Vice President and General Counsel of the Oklahoma State University Foundation in 2004. In March of 2008, he became Vice President of University Relations for Oklahoma State University. He assumed his current post as Senior Vice President and General Counsel in April 2011.

Dr. Green, elected to the Board in 2016, resigned his position due to increasing demands as Chancellor at the University. He will serve as special counsel to the National Board for issues related to higher education.
