Sean Cunniff was hired as Director of Communications at Alpha Gamma Rho. He accepted the newly restrutured role and started in February 2023. He is responsible for the communications strategy of the Fraternity, both internally and externally, including messaging, issues management, media relations and employee communications.
I'm excited to tell the stories of this historic organization and expand the Alpha Gamma Rho brand.
Cunniff has 13 years of industry experience creating and delvering high-impact brand-driven content. Before joining Alpha Gamma Rho, he most recently worked as Manager of Communications & Public Relations for Worlds of Fun; a theme park, water park, and resort in Kansas City, MO. During that time he rode one ride, a rollercoaster. It was recorded with a local reporter. It reaffirmed his displeasure of roller coasters.
Priot to that, he oversaw communications, marketing, and fund development at the nonprofit organization Northland Early Education Center. The previous seven years he worked in live broadcast television as a news producer across at the following television stations:
- 41-KSHB in Kansas City, MO
- 5-WPTV in West Palm Beach, FL
- 6-KOTV in Tulsa, OK
- 6-KAUZ in Wichita Falls, TX
He is a native Texan and attended Texas Tech University, where he was part of the Saddle Tramps and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications.
