Brother Jim Hagar is Apex Ag Solutions, LLC's new Chief Operating Officer/Chief of Staff.

Brother Jim Hagar of Beta Epsilon Chapter (Arkansas State) is the new Chief Operating Officer/Chief of Staff for Apex Ag Solutions, LLC, a seed and consultation service provider. Brother Hagar brings years of experience in global leadership within quality and operations, regulatory compliance, row crop breeding, agronomy consulting and global grain trade. He has a deep focus on local issues and needs within the Jonesboro, Arkansas area. 

Brother Brian Brozovic of Beta Nu Chapter (Texas A&M) was named as one of the Meat Institute’s Emerging Leaders class of 2026. Brother Brozovic is a Center of the Plate Specialist at Empirical Foods. He is also the founder and owner of Ashlar Consulting Group, a food industry consulting services group that specializes in sales, marketing, food safety, operations management, compliance, quality assurance, 3rd party auditing and more.  

The Emerging Leaders Program prepares participants to be leaders in our industry with the knowledge and understanding they need, at both the industry level and operational level, to champion continuous improvement within their own organizations and the industry at large. Those selected to participate in the program will go through a year-long curated experience focusing on development and enhancement of leadership skills, networking and advocacy for the industry.

Brother Ben Couture is the new Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Morehead State.

Brother Ben Couture of Omega Chapter (New Hampshire) is now the Special Assistant to the Head Coach of Morehead State University’s women’s basketball team. Brother Couture began his coaching career in 2018, coaching for his alma mater as a student manager for the men’s basketball program. From there he has worked in a variety of roles in athletics for Great Bay Community College (N.H.), Vanderbilt, Michigan State and more. 

Seven brothers from Beta Omega Chapter at Missouri State Wesley Black, Carter Gulick, Shane Cummings, Brayden Selgeby, Ryan Stratmam, Mason Meservey and Ryan Madras, made it on to the Dean's List. Brothers Gulick, Cummings and Stratmam had 4.0 GPAs.

Brother Jerry Wooley of Alpha Iota Chapter (Arkansas) was this year’s VIP Citation recipient, given by the National FFA Organization. This prestigious award is given to individuals who have dedicated 20 years of service to FFA and agricultural education on a national level.

Two brothers at Alpha Eta Chapter (Georgia) made it on to the President’s List with 4.0 GPAs: Brothers Nathan Harden and Christian Kelly. Fourteen brothers made it on the Dean’s List: Brothers Penn Askew, Landon Beaty, Landon Bynum, Andrew Carnley, Luke Cliett, McLean Gaston, Brandt Roland, Nick Tootle, Brooks Tucker, Chase Williams, Hance Harper and Harrison Pugh.

Brother Craig Uden is the new President of the Nebraska Cattlemen.

Brother Craig Uden of Kappa Chapter (Nebraska) was named the President of Nebraska Cattlemen late December. Brother Uden is a fourth-generation cattleman, and is a partner in Darr Feedlot Inc., a commercial cattle-feeding operation in central Nebraska. He and his wife also run three cow-calf operations. He currently serves on a variety of agriculture organizations including the Nebraska Beef Council,  the Nebraska Cattlemen Research & Education Foundation and the Nebraska Feedlot Council. He has previously served on Nebraska Cattlemen board of directors as committee chairman, vice chairman, vice president and president-elect, and is a member of Nebraska Ag Builders and the Educational Foundation Board of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
