Dear Brothers,
Taking the health, safety and well-being of our members, volunteers, delegates, staff and guests into consideration as our top priority, the National Board of Directors has voted to reimagine the 66th Alpha Gamma Rho National Convention, shifting the event to a virtual format in 2020 and an in-person experience in 2021.
Alpha Gamma Rho is excited to take on this new venture by hosting the virtual phase using the latest digital technology potentially on July 22 and 23. Although we will not be in-person in 2020, workshops, awards, business sessions, elections and other engagements will still take place. Be on the look-out for more information regarding the event in the coming weeks.
For those members who had already registered for the National Convention in 2020, you will be reimbursed for your registration fees.
Pending delegate approval, the Board plans to conduct the in-person, on-site phase of the Convention in Milwaukee in the summer of 2021. Specific dates will be ironed out over the coming months. We would conduct AGR business, recognize the Hall of Fame inductees and launch an exciting new major initiative focused on local chapter success. Numerous workshops focused on local chapter operations and leadership development as well as honoring brothers will headline the convention.
Our commitment is to provide engaging brotherhood development activities both virtually this July and in-person in 2021. Creating opportunities to build important personal and professional connections and create interaction among brothers that will last a lifetime.
We are excited! AGR matters and together we will make better men. “See” you this July.
