Zane Akins provides management consulting and personal financial services from his home in Florida.
He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri in 1962 and received their Citation of Merit Award in 1986. He served as Noble Ruler of Theta Chapter.
He has been married 40 years to Kay Cowan with three children and four grandchildren. He spent 26 years on the staff of the Holstein Association, 13 of those years as CEO. He was Grand President, Chicago Alumni and Tri-State Breeders Man of the Year, National Pedigreed Livestock Council Distinguished Service Honoree, Hall Of Fame Inductee of his High School and listed in several Who's Who Worldwide.
