
Binkley attended the University of Tennessee where he majored in Agricultural Economics and minored in Business. He joined Alpha Gamma Rho in spring 1989, and he served as social chair, new member education chair, VNR-Recruitment and Noble Ruler.
Upon graduation Binkley took the position of Chapter Services Manager for the AGR Home Office. In 1993 he took the position of Chapter Development Manager. He traveled to over 30 states in the two years that he worked for AGR, and he still has many AGR friends from around the country. In 1994 Binkley took a new job as financial analyst with Bank of America. In 1995 he started a new bank department called Corporate Marketing. In 1996, he became a relationship manager and managed a commercial loan portfolio of approximately $150 million. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1997.
Binkley and his family moved to Nashville in 1998, and he took a position as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch where he served as Assistant Vice President in the Private Client Group. He currently works as Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley. He and his wife now have three boys – Nash, Max and Will.
Binkley has stayed active with AGR over the years, serving as National Recruitment Coordinator from 1994-2000. He has also been involved in several national committees and recruitment schools. He was chosen as a Brother of the Century in 2004 and a recipient of the Grand President Award in 2008, and he was appointed Regional Vice President for the Mid-East Region.
