Dr. Ole Meland has been Vice-President-Genetics of Accelerated Genetics for 20 years. He received his PhD in Genetics in 1984 from Virginia Tech. He received his undergraduate degree in Dairy Science in 1976 from Cal Poly where he became a Charter Member of Chi Chapter. He was student body President at Cal Poly and President of the Graduate Student Assembly at Virginia Tech.
He is currently the National Housemother Coordinator for Alpha Gamma Rho. He was Grand President 1994-96, Grand President Award winner in 1994, adviser for Beta Beta chapter, Alumni President for Beta Eta, Charter Member of Beta Eta Chapter, Hall Of Fame 1985, and Charter Member of Chi Chapter where he was recognized to the Hall of Fame 2000.
