Mendoza Selected to Join the Collegiate Advisory Council

This eight-man Council will work alongside many of AGR's National Leaders to review and discuss issues and trends on a National Fraternity and Greek-wide level. Additionally, the Council will offer their opinions and suggestions on the direction of the Fraternity, attend National Board Meetings and serve as an Ambassador for AGR. The Council is made up of four regionally-based and four at large members.

Joining the Council is Luis Mendoza, a junior at Fresno State University who was initiated into the Alpha Sigma Chapter in September of 2018 where he has served as VNR Recruitment. At Fresno State University campus, Luis has served as the Dairy Club's Social Media Chair, is a member of the Young Farmers and Ranchers and as an IFC representative. He also received the Voss Berry Hill Scholarship while studying agribusiness with a minor in plant science. Following graduation in spring 2020, Brother Mendoza plans to work in the agricultural industry in sales and marketing. He will serve the Collegiate Advisory Council (CAC) as an at large member.

The initial four CAC members who will serve one more year are Del Adcock from Kansas State University, Carter Jones from North Carolina State University, Michael Wijesinghe from University of Maryland, and Dustin Winston from the University of Idaho. The other three selected to the CAC include Sam Laneve from University of Kentucky, Travis McMillan from Iowa State University and Matthew Schorner from Florida Southern College.
