Laneve Selected to Join the Collegiate Advisory Council

This eight-man Council will work alongside many of AGR's National Leaders to review and discuss issues and trends on a National Fraternity and Greek-wide level. Additionally, the Council will offer their opinions and suggestions on the direction of the Fraternity, attend National Board Meetings and serve as an Ambassador for AGR. The Council is made up of four regionally-based and four at large members. 

Joining the Council is Sam Laneve, a junior at University of Kentucky who was initiated into the Omicron Chapter in January of 2017. He will be serving the Collegiate Advisory Council (CAC) representing Region 3. He has served the Omicron Chapter as VNR Planning, VNR Scholarship. Brother Laneve is a plant and soil science major. At Kentucky, Sam is involved as an Ag Student Council Representative, Block and Bridle Club member and as a Peer Mentor for the Agricultural Residential College. This summer Laneve will be studying abroad in Argentina for two weeks learning about international agricultural practices and policies. 

The initial four CAC members who will serve one more year are Del Adcock from Kansas State University, Carter Jones from North Carolina State University, Michael Wijesinghe from University of Maryland, and Dustin Winston from the University of Idaho. The other three selected to the CAC include Travis McMillan from Iowa State University, Luis Mendoza from Fresno State University, and Matthew Schorner from Florida Southern College.
