• Maryland undergrad passes away after car accident

  • DENTON, Md. – Dec. 21, 2010 – Chad Clark, Maryland undergraduate, died Dec. 18 as the result of an automobile accident. He was 19 years old.

    Clark was presently a sophomore at the University of Maryland College Park where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho. He was initiated by Alpha Theta chapter in 2010. He was recently elected to serve as Noble Ruler, his term slated to begin in January 2011. In addition, he was on the Jr. American International Charolais Association Board of Directors and was president of the Colonial Junior Charolais Association. He was also a member of the Choptank Ruritan Club.

    The funeral will be held Thursday, Dec. 23 at 2 p.m. at the St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 100 S. Fifth Ave., Denton, MD where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Denton Cemetery, 24864 Meeting House Road, Denton, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be sent to the Colonial Jr. Charolais Association, c/o Eileen Kennedy, 4975 Canandaigua Farmington Twln. Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424 or to the Caroline County Fair Board, Inc., c/o Charlotte Brown, 207 S. Third St., Denton, MD 21629.
