    Steen retired in 1994 after a 25-year career as a Senior Agricultural Officer for the United States Agency for International Development where he worked with governmental and private organizations in Latin America

     

    Currently, he is a consultant in International Agricultural Development in Denver. He also owned and operated a franchise retail computer business in Alexandria, Va., for six years after retirement

     

    For Alpha Gamma Rho, Steen served as president of the AGR Alumni Association of Washington, D.C. As an RVP, Steen hopes to provide the necessary leadership to effectively link the West Central Region to the National Alpha Gamma Rho Home Office and vice versa.
