
Doyle Jacklin graduated from Washington State University in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy. He received an honorary Doctorate degree of Administration from the University of Idaho in 2003. After graduation in 1962 he served four years as a Commanding Officer in the US Navy. He then joined the marketing department of the Jacklin Seed Company in 1966.
He is currently a general partner for Riverbend Commerce Bank. He has been active in many associations including Better Lawn and Turf Institute, Kiwanis Club, Western Seed Association, and Golf Course Builders Association of America. In 2003 he received the Golf Course Builders of America’s Don A. Rossi Humanitarian Award. He has a son, Wade, and daughter, Nicole.
