Alpha Gamma Rho announces photo contest: Take Your Pic(k)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – May 23, 2011 – Take Your Pic(k) is a photo contest in which all brothers are encouraged to participate. We want you to show your AGR pride! Each quarter we’ll announce the winners, and they’llget their pick from three prize packs. There is also an opportunity for your photo(s) to be featured in a future issue of SICKLE & SHEAF and elsewhere.
PICTURE CATEGORIES:
There will be one individual winner from each category. If the same photo is sent by more than one contestant, the first submission received will take precedence. Send pictures of yourself or brothers:- Displaying or wearing Alpha Gamma Rho’s letters
- Reading the latest issue of SICKLE & SHEAF or your Chapter Crescent
- Performing community service or volunteering at an event
HOW TO SUBMIT:
- Required: Email photos to SCasey@AlphaGammaRho.org
- Optional: Upload your picture to our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/alphagammarho) and/or upload to Twitter and tag us (@AlphaGammaRho)
- Deadlines: Spring: March 1; Summer: June 1; Fall: Sept. 1; and Winter: Dec. 1.
PHOTO SUGGESTIONS
- High resolution is preferred
- Consider wearing AGR or your school’s apparel in the picture
- Take photos at campus buildings/monuments, with school or professional team’s mascot, during vacation, etc.
- Use discretion and make sure it’s appropriate – no photos displaying alcohol or illegal activities will be considered and could result in disciplinary action
- Tell us who is in the picture
PRIZE OPTIONS
Winners will be notified by the Home Office via phone or email. They will have a choice of the following prize packs:- Prize Pack #1: Embroidered hoody and t-shirt
- Prize Pack #2: Embroidered polo shirt, screenprinted t-shirt and rear windshield decal
- Prize Pack #3: Embroidered polo shirt, hat and rear windshield decal
